Food was like that of a restaurant but atmosphere is like that of a walk-up fast food place. They were quick, food tasted fresh and we even got a plastic card to hold with our number that beeps and vibrates when your food is ready. Great for yummy food on-the-go! Offered a great variety including American food and specials like the Fried Oyster Po'Boy I got. Would have tried the dessert if we stuck around but looked delicious with scooped ice cream, milkshakes, and other options. Even offered kids meals!

We are traveling through from PA and found The Snack Shack. I had the Big Cheese and it is probably one of the top 2 sandwiches I have ever had. Amazing food and quick Friendly service. Spotsylvania you have a gem of a restaurant.

I've been a fan of snack shack for a long time. It seemed like it went downhill a couple of years ago, but the new owners did not disappoint at all. They were so nice and the food was amazing! Fresh, hot & well seasoned. I'm so happy they are back & better than I could have imagined. We will definitely be regular customers.

Everything except the food was good. What a serious let down. My first time eating here. It wasn’t totally horrible but it definitely did not live up to the hype. The fry’s tasted as if they were cooked in old grease. The wings tasted as if they were microwaved 3x’s and thrown with sauce. Definitely way over priced. Tried it… won’t go back. Just my opinion.

Excellent prices, a great surprise! Cheaper than fast food, but tastes better. We Stopped by for a quick burger and fries.. really tasty house sauce on burger. Fries were OK, they were shoestring, and everyone says try the milkshakes... definitely will next time! This time we had root beer and it was fantastic. It seemed clean, and they had a very nice woman at the counter. They get five stars for what they are.. a place for a quick grill and dairy treat. I posted a pic of the menu too.

Bought dinner there today for my family and I'm not impressed. The burgers, in my opinion, had absolutely no flavor to them. The wings were smoked and all pink inside, which I did not care for. The crinkle cut fries were good, fresh and salty. The staff was friendly.
The food was overpriced and not that good in my opinion, which was upsetting as I was very excited to try them.

Edited: My daughter wanted to try their burgers again, so we stopped for a burger meal for her. I'd decided to try their butter pecan ice cream. Look at the size of that 2 scoop cone. It was huge and delicious. My daughter ate every bite of her meal and everything was fresh and looked good.
I'm glad we went back today.
I don't however like how one of the people working approached the window while I was ordering and said "your not going to give us a bad review, are you".
I should be allowed to leave MY honest review about an establishment and not have to worry about being treated any certain way because of it.

Same ole shack with new improved menu items you can see and taste the improvement from the previous business. Highly recommend you take a visit if you ever went here back in the day!
