The front desk clerk was bizarrely uncooperative at check in and staged the most frightening episode of gaslighting ever seen. Very frightening experience. It was almost as if the lady had formed a rabid bigotry against us and was trying to pick a fight. We had never seen her in our life and we shall do all we can to avoid seeing her again. But above all it is important for the management to understand that while we had done absolutely nothing rude or inappropriate she manufactured a pretense that we were not to be allowed to check in. A very frightening experience which you will not have at the average American hotel.

This is a typical Courtyard by Marriott. The property is well maintained and the rooms are modern with plenty of amenities.
Visiting the weekend of August 16, 17, 18, 2024 for the Milwaukee Irishfest. The hotel had a package which included shuttle service to the fair.
A special shoutout to McKenzie for assisting us with our reservation upon check in. She was amazing.

Great room with a great location. No continental breakfast, our room wasn't cleaned and towels weren't restocked. Also, the hallway was very noisy as a travel ball team was staying there and always seemed to be there running up and down the hallway. Also, the ice machine by our room had no ice. Nice place to stay, just don't expect anything other than a bed.

I recently stayed for a long weekend. The hotel is clean. On our last day of stay, we didn’t have hot water. When I went to the desk to let them know, the lady said “ok” I told her I wasn’t able to shower. She told me someone would look into it. No one fixed the water issue. When I checked out on our final day I brought up the water issue again. The lady at the front desk again said, she would let someone know. Overall it would have been a nice stay if we had hot water. I’m disappointed no one at the hotel tried to fix the water issue or reached out to me about possibly changing by rooms with hot water.

I wanted to like this hotel, and mostly I did. But, the breakfast buffet was unfortunately a joke. Normal price is $26.00 per person. It was included with my Marriott status level, but I have to say it was very disappointing- even for being free. Sausage was ice cold, there was some egg dish which was slightly warm, but tasted like a wet sponge. Luckily the breakfast attendant eventually made an appearance and offered to make scrambled eggs or omlettes fresh. We had omlettes, and they were reasonable. And that breakfast attendant either had some really bad allergies going on or she was high on something. Her eyes and area around her eyes were very red and I tend to think it was the latter reason.

Room size was exceptional, except that it is difficult to watch from the bed.

Room was clean and very comfortable and plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. I gave 4 stars because of our bistro experience. The bistro was TERRIBLE and expensive. Had to wait for service. The avocado toast had more greens and very little avocado. The hard-boiled egg was dark grey. Yuck and no one at the counter to exchange.
